Good eyes on the first man's buckle--I usually sot the lion buttons before I get to see the wording on the belt. Regarding F. Daffinger, Neu-Ulm; he appears to wear a 12 on his shoulder, and the locale would confirm this. So that would be k.b. 12.IR
There is no information on the back of this one. You can tell he is a Bavarian by his belt buckle.
